Lately I’ve been buying some fabulous paper hang tags through Etsy sellers, one of which is Farouche (who makes fab tags… go buy some).
Yesterday I was feeling adventurous though, and after raffling through odd-shaped paper scraps and slightly bent cardstock leftovers I decided to make my own!
With a little precision and a sharp x-acto blade anyone can make cute little, inexpensive and RECYCLED gift tags. I craft so much and use so much paper that now I feel guilty if I throw away scraps bigger than a couple of inches. Lucky for me, my pack-rattedness payed off this time!
I’d like to be able to eventually sell packs of gift tags in my Etsy shop, but for now I’m just whipping them out left and right. Keep your eyes peeled for new items in the future though!
*pictured are recycled tissue paper tags, decorative paper tags, Mexican loteria tags and cardboard tags. They are all made from scraps of material that I’ve saved from previous projects.
