I’ve also been currently obsessed with embroidery, and designing custom embroidery pieces. The inspiration for this piece is a lyric from a Silver Jews song. I incorporated felt, fabric and floss here. Decorate those walls!

And another tidbit of news… I’m interning for the super-duper fab IndieFixx.com! Did I already mention that? My brain has been inundated with about eight to-do lists and I’m getting a little bogged down. I’m doing editorial work mainly, some internet research and layout design for Indie Fixx’s web mag Joie. I’m hoping to flesh out my web writing skills even more with this internship, and learn more and get more involved in the crafting scene. I’m super stoked!
